It’s not often that I wake up on a Saturday morning to an e-mail sent only hours ago…..2:30 am to be exact. Hours later I was sitting at a table with Carol, Ty, and Elizabeth discussing their wedding day and photography needs. A few days later I received another e-mail asking me to be their photographer. Hell yeah…and who would be able to say no? Carol and Ty are my kind of people. They are fun, they both have a witty sense of humor, they have an appreciation for art, they love beer and local brewery’s. In-fact….they opted to have their engagement session at a local brewery. Originally their plans were to have their ceremony behind the Capen House, a historic home recently relocated to the Polasek Museum property, but as construction schedules often go the home and grounds were not completed on time and the ceremony was moved to the neighboring Polasek Gardens. Carol and Ty just rolled with it of course and had a beautiful ceremony regardless of the minor location change. Later they danced the night away with friends and family, ( and beer ) to the grooves of the Making Faces band at the East End Market. Just to nail home how much fun it was….there was even a fearless Karaoke of Temple of the Dog’s song Hunger Strike. Yeah! My kind of people for sure!
Our Bride-Groom-Photographer selfie was photobombed….. and I love it!
