I honestly wasn’t quite sure how to title this wedding post. Nadia and Andrew’s Pi day wedding (3/14….get it?)was unique in so many ways I just couldn’t sum it up in the title. It was held in Ocklahwaha FL (I know…where you say?) on a private farm under an enormous oak tree that was located in a horse pasture complete with church pews. Believe me when I say…there were horses literally running around the ceremony location. Their wedding reception was located in-between the farm-house where Nadia and her ladies prepared for the day and a horse stable where a 2 month old baby calf took residence. Baby cow, cutest thing ever! Andrew’s mother walked her future daughter in law down the isle to her son, one of the sweetest moments I have ever witnessed at a wedding. Their ceremony time got pushed back 45 minutes due to delays of family members flying in from out-of-state which seriously pushed back our family formal and bridal formal shoot time leaving roughly 15 minutes left to pull off those shots. Huge thanks to my completely awesome second shooter Wesley Finch of Finch Photography. Not only did he produce many shots seen in this post, but his professionalism enabled us to split the bridal shots between the two of us and knock out the required list in record-breaking time leaving us with roughly 5 minutes to get some killer shots of just Nadia and Andrew pre-reception. A slight rain shower took place as Nadia and Andrew pulled away from the ceremony in a horse-drawn buggy for their celebratory lap around the horse pasture…a sign of good luck no doubt. Later they joined family and friends for their open air reception as the sun set. Nadia’s “father/daughter dance” was had with her brother standing in dads place, a very sweet moment to witness. The remainder of the night was filled with plenty of dancing and shenanigans….all in good fun under the market lights and stars.
P.S. Nadia has quite an arm. I have no clue where her bouquet went during the bouquet toss. LOL!
