John and Brenda’s small intimate wedding, held at the Church of Freedom in Kissimmee FL., was my last wedding of 2015 and took place on Dec. 26th. John and Brenda’s original plan was to head over to nearby Celebration for a few golden hour sunset portraits of just the two of them immediately following their family formals in the church. As weddings sometimes go a little later than expected and as fate would have it, the skies were overcast and filled with cloud cover and there was no sunset to be had. By the time we finished navigating the busy streets of Celebration and found parking the sun had set and night time had fallen. We were now shooting their portraits in the dark. No natural light? No problem! We carried on…nabbed a few killer portraits in the dark. Brenda and John were so cool and down to earth, and they weren’t afraid to risk getting wet in the local splash pad fountain. Just FYI….I’m the one who got wet.
